On 21 May, a flight between Madinah and Dhaka made an emergency landing at Jeddah’s King Abdul Aziz International airport. The flight was operating by Saudia flight SV3818. The aircraft was an Airbus 330, with 141 passengers and 10 crew members, took off from Madinah at 20:00 local time.
Saudi Arabia’s Aviation Investigation Bureau says there was a “defect” in the aircraft’s hydraulic system and nose landing gear. The plane made an emergency landing with nose gear retracted. On videos online you can see the A330 taxiing on the runway without its nose landing gear down. It can to a stop on its front belly and supported by its main landing gear. No one gets injured. All passengers were evacuated using emergency slides.
On this picure you can see the emergency slides.
